How to open the bags? To open the bags, hold the top left hand corner (where the loop is) with your left hand, and slide the plastic closing rod from left to right, away from where the triangle is pointing. The plastic sealing rod is designed to create an airtight effect for leak-proof bags. It may be a little hard to open the bags at first, but they will loosen up over time. You can also use a brush and put coconut oil in the slider to make it easier to open and close.

How to clean the stains? Stains from things like tomato sauce or spinach can be cleaned with vinegar, dish soap, toothpaste, brushes, toothbrushes, or erasers. Avoid using bleach, as it can be difficult to remove all of the residue.

How to clean the bags? The easiest way to clean the bags is to turn them inside out, put them in the dishwasher and let it do the work for you! If hand washing, turn the bag inside out, hand wash with soapy water and sponge, and air dry over a glass or use a towel. We generally recommend hand washing over using the dishwasher, as it can be more effective for cleaning greasy residue.

Are the sliders dishwasher safe? It depends on the temperature of your dishwasher. If the temperature is below what the rods can tolerate (-76°F ~ 176°F), then they are dishwasher safe.
